Inhalasi Herbal Ektrak Daun Salam dan Fisioterapi Dada sebagai Langkah Pencegahan dan Meningkatkan Ekspektorasi Bersihan Jalan Nafas Pasca ISPA

Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut atau ISPA adalah infeksi yang terjadi di saluran pernapasan, baik saluran pernapasan atas maupun bawah. Infeksi ini dapat menimbulkan gejala batuk, pilek, dan demam. ISPA sangat mudah menular dan dapat dialami oleh siapa saja, terutama anak-anak dan lansia. ISPA disebabkan oleh infeksi virus atau bakteri di saluran pernapasan bagian atas. Beberapa jenis virus yang sering menyebabkan ISPA adalah: Rhinovirus, Respiratory syntical viruses (RSVs), Adenovirus, Parainfluenza virus,Virus influenza,Virus Corona. Sementara itu, beberapa jenis bakteri yang juga bisa menyebabkan ISPA adalah: Streptococcus, Haemophilus, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumonia,Chlamydia. Adapun beberapa penyakit yang termasuk ke dalam ISPA adalah: Batuk pilek (common cold), Sinusitis, Radang tenggorokan akut (faringitis akut), Laringitis akut, Pneumonia, COVID-19. Bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif merupakan ketidakmampuan membersihkan secret atau obstruksi jalan napas untuk mempertahankan kepatenan jalan napas. Dampak yang ditimbulkan jika bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif tidak tertangani akan menimbulkan penderita mengalami sesak napas dikarenakan terdapat dahak atau sputum yang sulit keluar dan penderita akan mengalami obstruksi pada jalan napas. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi bersihan jalan napas tidak efektif salah satunya adalah terapi inhalasi herbal extrak daun salam dilanjutkan dengan fisioterapi dada. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah 100% kader kesehatan di kelurahan Cekelan mengetahui cara melakukan teknik inhalasi herbal daun salam dan fisioterapi  dada untuk mengatasi ISPA.References
