A Analysis of the Relationship between Self-Efficacy and the Performance of Intensive Inpatient Nurses at Hospital X, South Tangerang

Each hospital has standards to achieve the highest quality. This is closely related to the performance of both medical and non-medical. Nurses as frontliners work directly dealing with patients in providing nursing care and are required to have the best performance in order to achieve high quality through patient satisfaction. Various factors affect the high and low performance of nurses. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and nurse performance. This study uses a quantitative method of cross-sectional research design with a correlational descriptive approach. The population in this study was a nurse practitioner who worked at X Tangerang Selatan Hospital in the intensive care unit with a total sampling of 30 nurses. The instrument of this research is to use the spread of instruments whose validity is tested through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out by univariate and bivariate tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between self-efficacy (P value: 0.000) and the performance of nurses implementing intensive inpatient rooms at X Hospital Tangerang Selatan. The conclusion in this study is that the self-efficacy variable has a relationship with the performance of nurses implementing intensive care units at X Hospital Tangerang Selatan.References
