alveolar tampaknya menjadi komponen penting. Investigasi lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk
mengkonfirmasi temuan ini.
Kata Kunci: Sindrom gangguan pernafasan akut, ventilasi mekanis, posisi duduk,
pertukaran gas, mekanik pernafasan
Abstract
ARDS is a life-threatening condition characterized by poor oxygenation and stiffness in the
lungs. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of the sitting position on gas exchange and
respiratory mechanics after changing from the supine position to the sitting position in ARDS
patients who were mechanically ventilated. This research is a pre-experiment research with
a pre and post test design without control. Twelve research subjects were recruited. The effect
of sitting position was analyzed by comparing gas exchange and respiratory mechanics
between supine and 70º sitting positions. The Paired t-test was used to analyze changes in
gas exchange values [PaO2, PaCO2, PaO2/FiO2 (PF ratio), and AaDO2] and the Repeated
Jurnal Perawat Indonesia, Volume 8 No 1, Hal 1604-1617, Mei 2024
e-ISSN2 548-7051
Persatuan Perawat Nasional Indonesia Jawa Tengah p-ISSN 2714-6502
1605
Measures Anova test was used to analyze changes in respiratory mechanics (static lung
compliance/Cstat and airway resistance/ Ri). The results show that the PF ratio value in the
supine position is an average of 196.99 (SD=105.44) and the sitting position is 258.09
(SD=137.92) with a p value of 0.038; the average AaDO2 value in the supine position was
266.85 (SD=159.90) and in the sitting position 189.41 (SD=113.63) with a p value of 0.047;
changes in lung static compliance (Cstat) values from the supine position to the sitting
position at 30, 45 and 60 minutes obtained a p value of 1.000; The change in airway resistance
(Ri) value from the supine position to the sitting position at 30, 45 and 60 minutes obtained
a p value of 0.012; 0.008; and 0.010. The 70° sitting position is a simple and well-tolerated
technique that improves gas exchange function and respiratory mechanics in ARDS patients.
These beneficial effects may be due to complex physiological mechanisms of which alveolar
recruitment appears to be an important component. Further investigation is needed to
confirm these findings.
Keywords: Acute respiratory distress syndrome, mechanical ventilation, sitting position, gas
exchange, respiratory mechanics
Susilo Hartono, Tri Nur Hidayati, Agus Herianto Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Perawat Indonesia https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/2621 Thu, 05 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000 MORTALITY RISK IN INFARCTION STROKE PATIENTS BASED ON INFARCTION LOCATION, BLOOD PROFILE AND HISTORY OF HEART DISEASE: COMPARATIVE STUDY IN REGIONAL HOSPITALS IN CENTRAL JAVA AND THE SPECIAL REGION OF YOGYAKARTA https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/2473
Abstract
Background: Stroke case identification was developed to recognize the signs of stroke
and recognize the risk of mortality in infarction stroke patients. Pregnancy at the age of teenagers is very risky for complications compared to pregnancy at the age of 20 years and over. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence pregnancy complications at a young age in the working area of the Jember Mumbulsari Public Health Center. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study used a total sampling of 40 samples with the instrument used is a questionnaire. The independent variables in this study include gravida factors, history of Antenatal Care (ANC), and nutrition, while the dependent variable is pregnancy complications at a young age. This research was conducted in June 2022 in the working area of the Jember Mumbulsari Public Health Center. The analytical test used was the Chi-Square test. The results of the Chi-Square test on gravida show a p-value of 0.013, which means p<0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So, there is a relationship between gravida and pregnancy complications at a young age. A relationship between gravida and pregnancy complications at a young age can be caused by the formation of blocking antibodies against placental antigens that have not been perfect. Hence, the possibility of complications is very high. Health knowledge about complications of pregnancy at a young age and the dangers of getting pregnant at a young age must be known after marriage, especially for women under 20 years.
Karimah, Rizki Purwitaningtyas, Firdawsyi Nuzula Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Perawat Indonesia https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/1971 Thu, 05 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000 KOMBINASI SENAM HIPERTENSI DAN TERAPI MUSIK SUARA ALAM MAMPU MENURUNKAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/2255
Hypertension is a health problem that is quite dangerous in the world, because it is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Hypertension can be treated with nonpharmacological therapies, such as hypertension exercise and natural music therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of hypertension exercise and natural sound music therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertension sufferers in the working area of the Modo Health Center. The research design used a pre-experimental one group pre-post test design on 52 hypertensive patients who were selected using a consecutive sampling technique from a total population of 109. The intervention was in the form of giving a combination of hypertension exercise and natural sound music for 10-15 minutes according to the SOP for hypertension exercise and natural sound music. After that, it was analyzed using paired t-test. The results showed that the average blood pressure before treatment was 168.77/95.12 mmHg. After being given treatment the average blood pressure was 156.69/85.88 mmHg. The results of the pre-post systolic and pre-diastolic statistical tests obtained a significance value of p=0.000 (p<0.005), which means that there is an effect of a combination of hypertension exercise and natural sound music therapy on reducing blood pressure. The mechanism for reducing blood pressure after exercise is because exercise can relax blood vessels, so that by dilating blood vessels blood pressure will decrease. Providing natural sound music therapy can cause relaxation of arteriolar smooth muscles which play an important role in maintaining blood pressure. It is hoped that the combination of hypertension exercise and natural sound music therapy can be applied as an intervention at the Prolanis Health Center in Modo.

Keywords: hypertension, gymnastics, music therapy.
Diah Nur Kafitri, Virgianti Nur Faridah, Rizky Asta Pramestirini Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Perawat Indonesia https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/2255 Thu, 05 Sep 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE EFFECT OF EUCALYPTUS PATCH ON AIRWAY CLEARANCE OF ACCUTE RESPIRATORY INFECTION IN GARMENT EMPLOYEES https://journal.ppnijatengprov.org/index.php/jpi/article/view/2143
Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a disease of the upper or lower respiratory tract with common symptoms, namely coughing, feeling uncomfortable in the nasal passages, mild fever, excess mucus, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and causing problems with ineffective airway clearance.
