Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a disease of the upper or lower respiratory tract with common symptoms, namely coughing, feeling uncomfortable in the nasal passages, mild fever, excess mucus, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing and causing problems with ineffective airway clearance. Giving eucalyptus oil in the form of a eucalyptus patch is a practical new breakthrough and is expected to be able to overcome the problem of airway clearance. This study aims to determine the effect of the eucalyptus patch on the airway clearance of ARI sufferers. This type of experimental research uses a one group pretest posttest design approach. The population was employees of PT Morich who were diagnosed with ISPA with a total sample of 15 people selected by consecutive sampling. The results of the study obtained a sig (2-tailed) value with a result of 0.001 which means the eucalyptus patch has an effect on airway clearance in patients with ISPA.Downloads
