Pregnancy is the intrauterine fetus's growth and development from conception until the onset of labor. Pregnancy at the age of teenagers is very risky for complications compared to pregnancy at the age of 20 years and over. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence pregnancy complications at a young age in the working area of the Jember Mumbulsari Public Health Center. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study used a total sampling of 40 samples with the instrument used is a questionnaire. The independent variables in this study include gravida factors, history of Antenatal Care (ANC), and nutrition, while the dependent variable is pregnancy complications at a young age. This research was conducted in June 2022 in the working area of the Jember Mumbulsari Public Health Center. The analytical test used was the Chi-Square test. The results of the Chi-Square test on gravida show a p-value of 0.013, which means p<0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So, there is a relationship between gravida and pregnancy complications at a young age. A relationship between gravida and pregnancy complications at a young age can be caused by the formation of blocking antibodies against placental antigens that have not been perfect. Hence, the possibility of complications is very high. Health knowledge about complications of pregnancy at a young age and the dangers of getting pregnant at a young age must be known after marriage, especially for women under 20 years.Downloads
