MANFAAT VECOV-19 DALAM PENANGANAN KECEMASAN PEDAGANG TERHADAP PENULARAN COVID-19
Abstract
Covid-19 is an infectious disease that can be transmitted quickly from human to human through direct contact. One of the reasons for the anxiety that is felt because of the fear of contracting COVID-19 is due to invalid information about the COVID-19 disease. Based on the results of a survey from the Central Java government at the Karangayu market, it was found that 3 traders were positive for COVID-19. Then the Karangayu market was closed for 3 days to be disinfected and distanced between traders. This study aims to determine the benefits of VECOV-19 in reducing traders' anxiety about the transmission of covid-19. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design with control group pre-test post-test design. The intervention group will measure anxiety before and after being given education using health education video media. While the control group will measure anxiety before and after being given a brochure. The study was conducted with a total sample of 184 respondents using simple random sampling technique. The results of the study were the majority of respondents aged 50-51 years, working length of 24-25 years, female gender, elementary and high school education, the majority were married, the majority had no comorbidities. The results of the study showed that there were differences in pre-test and post-test anxiety in the intervention and control groups, but there was no difference in the anxiety of traders who were given VECOV-19 or leaflets. It can be concluded that the majority of traders' anxiety levels are in the non-anxious category and giving VECOV-19 or leaflets can reduce traders' anxiety scores. This research is recommended for nurses in handling anxiety.Downloads
