Abstract

Perawat mewakili proporsi terbesar (59%) dari penyedia layanan kesehatan yang berada di garis depan dalam penanggulangan COVID-19. Perawat dikategorikan sebagai populasi yang rentan, karena terpapar COVID-19 secara berlebihan di lingkungan kerja dan rentan mengalami masalah psiko-emosional dalam jangka pendek dan menengah, sehingga perlu adanya sense of coherence yang kuat dalam diri individu. Sense of coherence merupakan kompetensi yang dapat membantu individu memahami situasi sebagai sesuatu yang dapat dimengerti, dapat dikelola, dan bermakna, yang kemudian berkontribusi pada resiliensi individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran sense of coherence terhadap distres psikologis pada perawat dalam pelayanan COVID-19. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu try out sebanyak 50 orang dan partisipan data sebanyak 102 perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit bagian pelayanan COVID-19. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala SOC dan GHQ-12. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peran yang signifikan antara SOC dengan distress psikologis. Kontribusi sense of coherence terhadap psychological distress sebesar 23%. Hasil temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi rumah sakit untuk mengelola berbagai hal yang dapat berperan signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental perawat dalam pelayanan COVID-19.
