Angka kejadian Penyakit Jantung Koroner atau PJK masih tinggi baik di luar dan dalam negeri. Tindakan PCI merupakan teknik revaskularisasi yang paling umum dilakukan. Terdapat berbagai macam potensi bahaya seperti terpapar radiasi yang dapat menimbulkan risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja perawat di ruang kateterisasi. Pengalaman perawat dalam bekerja di ruang kateterisasi bersifat individu dapat menjadi sumber informasi dasar untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap bahaya kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran nyata tentang fenomena yang dialami perawat dalam menghadapi bahaya kerja di ruangan kateterisasi jantung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi deskriptif. Saturasi data didapat dari 8 orang partisipan yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan content analysis Colaizzi dipilih sebagai metode nalisis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan tiga tema yaitu bahaya fisik dan ergonomik yang dihadapi, keterbatasan APD dirasakan sebagai hambatan, serta upaya meminimalisir bahaya kerja dengan pendekatan teknis dan administratif. Keselamatan kerja di ruang kateterisasi hendaknya menjadi perhatian penting bagi semua pihak baik pengelola RS dan anggota tim yang bertugas.References
